Please note: The above floor plan is from the 2011 bridal show. We will be in the same hall and the floor plan will be about the same. I will be changing the booth placements at the top of the stage to the right. The 2011 exhibitors have first right to sign up for their same booth. If you previously participated in the RCBS please let me know if you would like to remain in your booth or give me three booth choices of where you would like to move to. If you would like to join us for the RCBS please give me your three choices of booth placement and I be able to start placing new exhibitors in February once I hear back from the 2011 exhibitors. Exhibitor Setup

Setup and Load in: Friday, October 5th from 1:00 – 6:00 pm
Please do not come early unless you have spoken to Lora and have approval.

Load out: Sunday, October 7th from 5:00 – 7:30. Floor must be cleared by 7:30 pm. You will not be able to breakdown your booth before 5:00. If you do you will be fined and will not be able to participate in the 2012 bridal show.

Dock Doors: We will have 3 dock door that will be available for load in and load out. Each door is set up on a half hour blocks. To schedule a time please email Lora Lora@rosecitybridalshowcase.com to request a time. You will not be able to just pull up and start loading in without a time. You will be asked to move.
There is available 1 roll up door for cars and small vans to use and you do not have to schedule this time. However, know you will have to wait in line for your turn to unload. You must have two people with you to use this door. You must unload and then pull out and park elsewhere. You will not be able to leave your car/van in the driveway to take your items to your booth. You can also park in the OCC parking structure and load in through the lobby or park in the exhibitor parking (located in the lot behind OCC) and bring your items around.

Exhibitor Packets: When you arrive you will receive your final booth number, exhibitor badges and other show information. Please make sure you come and see us before you start setting up.

Exhibitor Handbook and show information: This information is available on the exhibitor website using your Username and Password. This is not a public site so please go back in your email to find the link and info. If you can’t find it please email Lora Lora@rosecitybridalshowcase.com and she will forward you the information.

Exhibitor Parking Lot: The lot will be open daily and available first come first serve to anyone. The lot is located on the back side of OCC and is across from our dock area. It has gatearms, a ticket dispenser, and self pay box. This allows OCC to not have to staff this lot as it is completely automated. The daily cost is a flat rate of $7 which is credit card payment only (sign at entrance clearly states this) when the person exits. Trucks, trailers, and vans can continue to park in there overnight as their charge when they leave will accumulate at $7 for each day they stay in there.

Booth: Your booth will come with a 8′ backwall 3′ siderails draped black, 1-6′ table draped/skirted black, 2 chairs, 1 garbage can, 1 company ID sign. There is no carpet. 2012 Exhibitors

You will be able to download your exhibitor handbook from RCBS exhibitor website during the week of the September 12th. You will also find the form for if you would like to participate in the wedding giveaway. You can also drop me an email with your item, value and a description. If you have forgotten your user name or password please email me and I can resend it to you. Rack cards with discount coupon, display sign (if you are a store front) will be mailed during the first week of September. Store fronts will receive 50 and other exhibitors will receive 25. If you need more than this please let me know and I will send out additional cards.

The Red Lion Hotel Portland-Convention Center is offering a special rate if you like like to stay directly across from the convention center.

Booth Information

Booths Size: 10ft (deep) x 10ft (wide) / 10 x 15 / 10 x 20 booths available for exhibitors.

Booth Package: 8ft back with 3ft sides, 6ft table draped and skirted, 2 chairs, garbage can.

As an exhibitor of the Showcase, you will receive an excel file of the names and contact information (Name, Address, Wedding Date, services needed and much more)

You will be able to choose where your booth is located for the Showcase, however, it will be on a first-come, first-serve basis and we will make sure that exhibitors in the same wedding service industry are not exhibiting next to each other.

We will be offering two fashion shows on each day of the Showcase. This is a chance for the different vendors to showcase their wedding dresses, tuxes, flowers. This is only offered to exhibitors who purchase a full booth and are under one of these categories.

If you are interested in exhibiting at the Showcase, please contact me as soon as possible since space is limited. You are able to reserve a booth starting 1/1/12 to 10/5/12. All exhibitors participating in the Showcase will be listed in the promotional information that will be distributed at the Showcase and in the special wedding pullout section that The Community Newspapers will be producing.

CANCELLATION/REFUNDS: ALL CANCELLATIONS MUST BE IN WRITING. Verbal Cancellations will not be accepted. In the event the exhibitor cancels, all deposits will be retained as liquidated damages. If the Exhibitor cancels after 45 days prior to the show date, the entire contract amount is due and payable.

  • Winners of Cake Challenge announced during 3:00 fashion show
  • Show closes: 5:00

Sunday, October 7th

  • Exhibitors arrive helping with Brides Breakfast: 7:00 am
  • Open doors for brides breakfast: 7:45 am
  • Brides Breakfast: 8:00 to 9:45 am
  • Exhibitors arrive on show floor: 9:00 am
  • Show Doors open: 10:00 am
  • Special Guest TBA meet and greet: 10:15 to ?
  • Fashion Show: 11:30 to 12:15
  • Special Guest TBA on Fashion Show Stage: 12:45 to 1:15

Advertising & Marketing

Oregon Bride, Bravo! Wedding Resource Guide, Oregon Bridal Guide:
These magazines are distributed throughout the year at different bridal events and stores. They are also distributed at the different businesses that advertise in their publications and are mailed directly to new brides-to-be.

Oregonian, The Community Newspapers & Argus:
The Bridal Guide will be published and distributed by Community Newspapers during the week of last week of September, 2012 papers. We will also be advertising in the local newspapers published by The Community Newspapers. Gresham Outlook, Sandy Post and Forest Grove News, Clackamas Review, Oregon City News Beaverton Times, Tigard Times, Tualatin Times, Lake Oswego Review and West Linn Tidings

Discount Ticket & Information Cards: These are distributed through the counter displays and given to all exhibitors who participate in the bridal show. We distribute 10,000 cards throughout the Portland area and Washington County.

Storefront Counter Displays: Over 100 counter displays that are placed in all major retailers and store front business that participate in the Rose City Bridal Showcase. These are placed throughout all of Portland and Washington County. With the counter displays you will also find the discount ticket & information card.
